I’m giddy with excitement to finally be able to release an update announcing our team’s upcoming expedition to kayak the Northwest Passage. The team (Arctic Cowboys) will attempt to be the first to kayak the entire 2000+ miles of the Northwest solely by human power.

I realize there is a lot to explain. This is a seriously hard thing to do. 2000+ miles is an ultra-long endurance distance – that length has been done before. But doing it in a sub-freezing sea with 20-foot waves and polar bears watching you is a whole different kind of test of one’s endurance.

My role is remote support, keeping the team alive and communication flowing.
